Patterns/Test Knitting
I figure it's time I give my patterns and my test knitting a page all their own so I'm going to be slowly building this one up. To order the patterns just send me an e-mail at mailto:wmdress@sbcglobal.net
send the funds to my paypal address (above) In the comments tell me which pattern you would like and be sure to give me a current e-mail address to send the PDF file to.
Fall Shawl
Pattern now available for the Fall Shawl... a shawl which makes use of the lovely hand painted yarns. A shawl which was designed just for the purpose of using the lovely hand paints.
 It's a hug from me.
Originally this was designed as a mystery with clues going to the IcelandicLaceShawl group at Yahoo Groups in the Fall of 2008. As you can see the hand paint doesn't fight with the lace patterning.
You will need at least 1980 yards of lace weight, size 6 circular needle, size 16 crochet hook to place approximately 2000 beads.
Bed Jacket
I made this in what? 2 days? I bet you can too! I love it! It's perfect for over my PJ's in bed for late night knitting. This is crocheted from any worsted weight in your stash. Two rosettes grace the front, contrasting scallop trim and a pewter hook and eye closure. $5.00
Floophy Sleeves
These could be used with short sleeves or over long sleeves... they are so popular currently. Or you could just pick up stitches on a sweater pattern and use this for the sleeve. Pattern just $3.00.
SEED N BEAD SOCK PATTERN
Just fresh from the test knitter... my new pattern is available.
It's a beaded slouch sock... that I ADORE! I want to make them in every color. I have another one that I'm getting the pattern for which is along this line. I want to make an entire study of this style. The pattern is only $5.50 retail (available to LYS in bulk for less) and I take paypal. This was a sample kit that went well at TNNA in June, 08.
BOOT TOPPER SOCK PATTERN
This fun little lace cuff has an entire sock behind it. While it looks terrific in boots it can also be worn without them.

I take paypal or you can send me a check. Just put boot topper sock in the subject line. In this pattern I teach lace, the placement method of beading and crochet provisional cast on. Due to the special foot construction these can be worn with or without boots. I can't wear boots and I wear these a lot, they don't sag a bit and are wonderfully comfortable. My son says that the toe of the foot reminds him of the Empire State Building! Since there's a "special foot contruction" I can't show you a photo of the foot. You will just have to buy the pattern to get the Empire. ;-) This sock pattern starts in the center and goes out to the cuff then back at the center and down to the toe. On this pattern I offer up my special beaded picot bindoff that I made up for my Tofutsie Tee. The self same of the KAL I hostessed for SWTC in Summer 08. I teach the crocheted provisional cast on, beginning lace, placement method of beading, beaded picot bindoff and how to make socks from the center,,, what fun!

This pattern won the SWTC Tofutsies sock design challenge in the embellished catagory. I have the pattern available.
What follows are items which I have knit in this past year for hire. Meaning, I was compensated for knitting them, either in funds or equipment - my sign says, will work for yarn. This is not everything that I have knit as I have knit many items for our family and friends as well. This is to give you an example of my work, it's all top quality as well as FAST. I'm fast and accurate and so can crank out whatever you are needing. I'm very versatile and have learned a lot. Major yarn companies are represented here but that doesn't mean that I will not work for a consumer directly. Please write me for a quote mailto:wmdress@sbcglobal.net
These appear in Knit Picks catalog, Holiday 08
This shawl is huge! I cast on 1800 stitches for this one then knit in the round. My interchangable needle cables weren't long enough to get round this one, it was a challenge. This part took 150 hours and I think that I did it over a two week period... to show you how fast I am. Yes, that's a KING sized bed behind the chest.
 This is knit to pattern....
Here's what I changed on the pattern to bring it up off of the floor. I think it looks much better the way I fixed it. If you are knitting this and need any help, feel free to contact me. ;-)
I love Fair Isle and am making this bag for myself. It's becoming a popular knit a long now. I lined it with a blue satin fabric, NUMMY!
These socks and above shoulderette lace shawl were made in one week,,, yes, I'm a very fast knitter.
These socks were a lot of fun, each stitch was different and just about every one charted, a challenge is always nice.
The week following the shawl/socks week, I did it again! HAHA I had so much fun seeing how fast I could knit. I love them all.
This top is called Heatwave, it's made from a bamboo yarn.
This is a Vickie Howell design.
A lace poncho out of a cobweb yarn.
Sheldon - all cotton sweater for a child.
My Seeds N Beads Duo... the second pattern I wrote off of the original pattern.
These are in the Conjoined Creations book that was just published summer 2008.
