Yarn Destash
Here is where I will try to get you good prices on destashed yarns. Paypal please. See the DVD's and videos page too.
Copy and paste into an e-mail what you would like or the cone number, send me your zip so I can figure out the shipping costs. Your choice, priority with delivery confirmation or parcel post with no responsibility on me after they leave my place (cause the PO wont track-never had a problem though). These have been stored in totes, totally pet, dust and moth proof... all in perfect condition.
Keep in mind the cost of postage as buyer pays that. Buyer also pays 4% paypal fees (my cost from them) unless you have cash INSIDE of your paypal account. In that case I have another account with paypal where I can accept cash payments. Do not send funds to the cash account if it's coming from a bank account or credit card. That will just delay your order.

Sweaters Worth Laidlaw and Fairgrieve DK weight cream yarn
$20.00 for the lot
Net exerpt....Laidlaw & Fairgrieve has been producing yarn for 135 years on a site where the first Borders spinning plant was built in 1793. They were the first commercial spinners of Shetland yarns. Today they offer a contemporary range of product. Along with traditional Shetland there is extra-fine lambs wool, .... I found conflicting reports as to the status of this company. It seems to have been taken over but then it might be out of business all together as the information I saw seems to be old. As you all well know wool takes a licking and keeps on ticking. This was the first sweaters worth of yarn I purchased. It was OTN and I unraveled the bit that was already knit.
Double Knit Shetland, spun in Scotland in Ladhope Hills, Galashiels (right there should make me keep it!!!) UGH this is difficult but DH is out of work so I must needs be have open hands,,, not claws!
100% Pure New Wool, 4 ply, 50 gram skeins, natural (light beige color) and about 180 yards of a gentle tangerine color. There are 8 intact skeins of cream and 3 skeins I ripped. If you go to to fiber 2 yarn.com you can see a conversion chart which says DK weight Yarn. Wraps per inch in finished yarn is 12-14 wraps. Yards per pound: wool 1100-1300. Total weight that I have is 13.9 oz so if there's 16 oz to a lb then it's probably about 800 yards? Great for a lovely yoked baby sweater. Or make a bag, felt and dye it!!!! I just need $20.00 for the lot, history and all.'-)
LORNA'S LACE sock I have many skeins of the Rainbow colorway only $9.50 each-2 needed for a sock.
SPORT also available in the rainbow colorway for only $10.50 I believe I have about 4-6 skeins of this. If you are interested I will dig them out for you.
PEACE FLEECE **SWEATERS WORTH**
Peace Fleece sweater lots. I'd like to keep the LOTS for the sweater together if possible. These are $6.50 each skein, standard put up, worsted weight and I will ship best way, you only pay actual cost of shipping.
Lavender 8 skeins, 1 full ball (and one is well over the size of the normal skein so it's got more then one in there.-not charging for the extra so for a total of 10 skeins. Enought here for a really large sweater... 1X I am and XL and use about 6 balls for a sweater.
